BRAZILIAN 360 WIG: TIPS AND TIPS FOR MAINTENANCE
Having long hair is the wish of many women. But to achieve this goal, you have to persevere and invest in good quality products. However, many women opt for Brazilian hair. This is a proven hair extension technique. Obviously, to maintain its silky and shiny appearance, regular maintenance and special care are essential. Here are our tips for maintaining this type of weaving and preserving its quality!
1- REMEMBER TO DETANGLE DAILY
Knots are the worst enemy of the Brazilian 360 wig. They risk damaging them quickly. To avoid them, you will have to remember to untangle it daily, at least in the morning. Before going to bed, braid it to preserve it effectively and wrap your head in a small scarf. Otherwise, wear a hat. In the morning, while styling your hair, all you have to do is undo the braids and brush your hair with a wide-tooth comb. To make it easier for yourself, start at the bottom and work your way up, combing gently to the roots. You can obviously use a product like spray to detangle the weave more quickly while avoiding the slightest accident.
2- CHOOSE YOUR CLEANING PRODUCTS
The Brazilian weave will last longer if you take care to feed them regularly. Once a week, remember to apply a repairing smoothing serum so that your hair retains its beauty for longer. You can also opt for a special extension repair treatment to make your hair shinier. Apply the product over the entire length. And insist on the ends to avoid breakage and the risk of knots. Do not hesitate to use natural oils whose effects are undeniable for natural hair. For example, coconut oil, jojoba oil or castor oil.
3- CAREFULLY WASH YOUR BRAZILIAN 360 WIG
Hair hygiene is essential to avoid itching and the proliferation of bacteria that will harm your hair even more! Our advice is to choose a silicone-free shampoo that will respect the nature of your hair while nourishing it. Indeed, an unsuitable product could affect the quality of your Brazilian weave! Then, after washing, you can optimize the life of your hair by letting it air dry. Otherwise, avoid hot-air hair dryers. A device that diffuses cold air will do the trick to keep the beauty of your Brazilian weave.
4- WHAT DEVICES ARE SUITABLE FOR THE BRAZILIAN 360 WIG?
If a hair dryer blowing hot air is not recommended, you can always blow-dry after washing your Brazilian weave. This will give it a softer and shinier look. But if you do it too frequently, you risk damaging its quality. Using a straightener or a curling iron whose temperature exceeds 180°C can also weaken your hair. But you can use these devices to style your hair while respecting the maximum temperature that hair (whether natural or artificial) can withstand.
5- AFTER WEAVING REMOVAL
Normally, a Brazilian 360 wig that is bonded can only be worn for 2 to 3 weeks. These can go away on their own! Your natural hair will need to breathe a bit after eight weeks anyway… That said, if you want to keep the hair after removal, you will need to take a few precautions. Already, wait two weeks to put the Brazilian weaving back. In the meantime, take care of your natural hair by applying conditioner and washing it carefully and regularly. As for the weave, you will keep its good quality by giving it an oil bath: apply a care oil (coconut, olive, avocado, or jojoba) along the entire length starting from the tip and going to the root. Then, let the product act for about fifteen minutes before washing your weaving. Use, as we have already advised, a mild shampoo and then a conditioner. Rinse your Brazilian weave well before leaving it to air dry. To keep it until the next use, store it carefully in a place protected from humidity and dust. Ideally, we advise you to tie it by braiding it.
