How to Care for Natural Hair Daily

Must read

Every single day we see models on TV commercials flaunting their hair with pride. Of Course, they are overly exaggerated results, but we all want healthy, shiny, and silky hairs like those models. And this is the major reason for spending thousands of dollars on shampoo, conditioner, and masks. It is necessary to learn that these high chemical products don’t work well to revive and restore your hair condition. And even if you buy high-quality branded hair products, they will only work when you add them to your daily routine. Using a hair mask once in 4 months, does it help? No, because maintaining a routine is very significant in any matter of life. It is like watering a plant daily and expecting flourishing, beautiful flowers.

Daily hair care is equally as crucial as a skincare routine. In this blog, we will tell you how to care for natural hair daily

1- Home Remedies & Tips

Home Remedies & tips never get old. Simple ingredients from your kitchen might work wonders. There are many home remedies on the internet that are super quick and easy. Moreover, they don’t have any side effects. Some of the common remedies are;

  • Baking soda therapy:

Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda in one cup of water, apply after shampoo, wait for 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. It will adjust the PH balance of your scalp, reduce scalp itchiness and make hair shiny.

  • Egg treatment:

Use a half cup of egg mixture (entire egg or egg whites) and apply to damp and clean hair. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water. You’ll see a visible difference in the silkiness and softness of your hair.

  • Apple cider treatment

Apple cider vinegar helps in reducing the mineral buildup on the scalp. Mix vinegar with water and make a dilute solution; apply to your hair and leave it for 25 minutes before showering. Use lukewarm water to clean thoroughly.

  • Lemon juice treatment

In 3 cups of water, add one tablespoon of lemon juice, apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes. Run water to clean the lemon residue from the scalp. It will reduce dandruff and give more shine to your hair.

2- Water Temperature and Quality

Hot water showers are not suitable for your hair quality. They strip moisture and protective oils from your hair and make them dry and brittle. It is better to use lukewarm or cold water to wash your hair.

Water quality also plays a vital role in the health of your hair. Areas with high-mineral content water badly affect your scalp. It damages the hair follicles by building a thin layer of minerals on your scalp. It is necessary to remove the minerals, chemicals, and bacteria from water and make it soft. The eco water shower head is the one-stop solution to remove all impurities and contaminants from water. They have mineral beads that absorb 99% chlorine, calcium, and magnesium while adjusting the PH balance of shower water, thus making it perfect for hair wash.

4- Deep Conditioners and hair masks

For an added boost of conditioning, you’ll need to add deep conditioners and hair masks to your hair care routine. Moisturization is the utmost necessity of your body. Use leave-in conditioners weekly; they make your hair more manageable and easy to detangle

5- Oiling is the key

Use natural oils such as almond oil, jojoba oil, and coconut oil to moisturize your hair and improve nourishment. Oils help in hair growth, quality and texture. People have been using it for centuries due to its countless benefits.
